Introduction to half-day symposium on evolution in the cognitive sciences, given by Tania Lombrozo, of the UC Berkeley Psychology Department on February 6, 2009 at UC Berkeley. The symposium had speakers from across campus, a photo tour of the Galapagos Islands, and birthday cake to celebrate Darwin’s 200th birthday and the 150th anniversary of "On the Origin of Species".
